Readings.  Gospel: Mark 12:28b-34

     This is a the story of a man deeply interested in his Judaic faith and spirituality.  Sometimes it happens the questioning of his faith reveals answers to him that are both unexpected and thought provoking.  This is one such story.

     Pray for the soul of Stanley Dentkos who passed away Saturday morning.  Long time parishioner, 50 years, at St. Cecilia's Parish.  Memorial Mass November 11th, 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Church. Reception to follow.

      I am looking for volunteers for four organizations that the parish needs to develop.  If any volunteers are interested in one of these, contract Fr. O'  415-488-9799:
     * Altar Society, deals with cleanliness of church, sacristy, altar cloths, candles, etc.
     * Ground Maintenance and Landscaping.
     * Liturgy Committee, enhancing the celebrations and special seasons of the year.
    *  Hospitality, Sunday coffee and cookies after Mass.
